Piedmont Wine Region

We first started exploring this region early in 2007 after a request to find a venue that was totally different from the lakes; that had beautiful views, was surrounded by nature and old, traditional Italian towns as well as wonderful food and wine.

For us, it was love at first sight! The diversity of this truly amazing region is just breathtaking. Often described as the, “New Tuscany” rolling hills, it has medieval towns and plenty of life. Some of the best towns to explore are Alba and Asti, with Turinare also being worth a visit.

This region is all about food & wine and it is the number one gastronomic region in Italy. It boasts some of the most important vineyards and has plenty of activities including wine trails by horseback, hot air ballooning over the vineyards and plenty of superb restaurants in which to enjoy a long, lazy lunch.

Creating wedding menus here is just heavenly and food lovers will be interested to know it is home to the highly praised “white Alba truffle” .

The flexibility of the venues has also been a huge attraction especially as most have never heard of a time limit when the wedding party has to finish.

The region is also very well connected to all the main airports in Europe, so getting here is very easy and most of the low cost airlines have routes from the UK and Eire.
